Is this another tool I'll abandon in two weeks?
We hope not! Delv is deliberately simple, built for how academic labs actually work, and it fills itself in wherever it can. The less you have to feed it, the more likely it sticks.
Do I need my university's IT department to approve it?
Nope. Sign in with your existing Google or Microsoft work account and you're off.
How much does it cost?
It's free during the private beta. After that, it'll be priced to fit on a purchasing card, so no purchase orders or procurement committees.
Is my lab's information safe?
Yes. Your data is yours, it's encrypted, it's never sold, and you can export all of it whenever you like. Sensitive details about your people stay visible only to you.
I'm not a brand-new professor. Can I still use it?
Absolutely. If you run a research group and feel a little buried, Delv is for you. We just have a soft spot for the folks in years one through five.
